About the blog

Dear Friends,

They say, the greatest joy in a woman’s life is when she becomes a mother. Rightly so, my most fulfilling and joyous moments to date have been when I was blessed with motherhood, and that too twice!!

But being a mother is probably the most challenging job we all willingly take. It makes us perform difficult tasks every now and then, the toughest being to serve healthy yet yummy food to our little angels today and every day.

Have you ever wondered how often we mothers talk about our kids not eating the right (healthy) stuff and giving in to all the wrong (unhealthy) stuff. It’s probably because healthy food often is not visually as appealing as junk food. And we mothers know for sure that “our kids eat the food that looks good….taste comes later…”

Small measures Big pleasures is a blog on my attempts to prepare visually attractive, yummy and most importantly healthy food ( kiddie portion size) that has been happily approved by my biggest critics “My Kids”.

I would love to hear from you! If you have a question, comment or feedback, feel free to email me at
